The goji berry, also called the wolfberry, is a bright orange-red berry that comes from a shrub that’s native to China.
In Asia, goji berries have been eaten for generations in the hope of living longer.
Over time, people have used goji berries as a treatment for many common health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, fever, and age-related eye problems.
Goji berries are consumed raw, cooked, or dried (like raisins) and are used in herbal teas, juices, wines, and medicines.
During the financial crisis in Greece we came up with the idea of starting something
that would bring us again closer to our origins…
Back to our homeland we found out that the soil of our field was highly fertile and our enterpreneurial but also romantic minds were very excited in the thought of someday having our own bio production line.
Goji is a superfood, a natural medicine, with huge nutritional value and high antioxidant levels amongst fruits and vegetables. We really loved the prospect of developing innovative production, preservation and
distribution methods that would bring the best out of this divine superfood!
And that’s exactly what we did!
So now you can enjoy—for the first time in Europe—sweet, organic goji berries straight from the field while we develop an innovative packaging to keep them fresh for more days!
Our field of total 16.000 sq.m. is located in Peloponnese, Greece and specifically in Kiato Korinthias, a well known area for its fertile soil and sweet fruits.
